What is DateND?

Do you like Persona? How about Etrian Odyssey, or LovePlus, or Crush Crush? Well lower your expectations and strap in, because just like all of those games, DateND isn't playable with a mouse- wait shit...

Anyways, the point is this is a microtransaction-free, grass-fed organic RPG split into two main parts: life on the college campus, and the harrowing adventures of a dungeon master. During the day, you take the role of a socially awkward college freshman attempting to grind your personality traits to woo an increasingly unrealistic group of female co-eds that all immediately become your friends and all coincidentally love to play Dungeons & Dragons. Impress them enough times and you can forge everlasting friendships, and possibly even spark a bit of romance...

Don't take too long though - once the year is up you'll definitely never see any of these people ever again because reasons. Successfully juggle stat-leveling, real life leveling, and the busy schedules of your friends who have real lives unlike you, and secure true victory!

The primary goal of DateND's design is to make an engaging, fast paced, and strategic combat system that uses real ATB and real-time gameplay; the game will not pause for the player to take an action, and the enemies will not wait for you to take your turn.

Scale the dreaded Tower of Babel - 50 floors of vicious monsters and rare treasures await those brave enough to meet the challenge. Search for riches as you navigate poison filled forests, frostbitten tundras, totally real active volcanoes, and more! (yes these are all in the tower)

Fight for your life - Wage war with slimes, sentient candy, super fighting robots, and of course the all powerful Elemental Dragons, but beware: they really won't pull any punches.

Don't forget the romance - The relationships you build are good for more than just CG, getting closer to these girls also unlocks unique passive abilities to turn the tide of battle in your favor. The AI is gonna cheat anyways, so you might as well bring a few balance-breaking tricks of your own.

I'm currently working on this solo, so development progress tends to fluctuate pretty wildly, also I don't know how to make music so excuse the placeholders for now, I'll be sure to sort the audio out before the first official super-forreals-this-time release. Of course, I'm very welcome to any assistance - musically or otherwise - just be aware I'm very, very broke.

Thank you for your continued support, and please look forward to the next release <3
